About The Wedding

If the ceremony is to be held in a religious setting, then most of the holiday spirit should be saved for the reception but there are still some Halloween wedding ideas that can be added to give a hint of things to come. For example, the groomsmen might wear a black "Dracula" cape and the groom could add the touch of a dark red cummerbund and bowtie. The bridesmaids could wear orange and black, maybe some wearing each color

On to the reception where there would be a bar for guests to enjoy Halloween-appropriate drinks like Black Cats and Bloody Mary's. Tables, whether dining or buffet, can be draped with holiday appropriate tablecloths and would feature Jack O' Lanterns with lit candles as ghoulish centerpieces. These Halloween wedding ideas work well for anyone who's not afraid of seeing a few ghosts and goblins at their wedding! Of course the DJ will have to play some fitting songs for the celebration, and the entire room can dance to the Monster Mash, Thriller, and the themes from Ghostbusters and the Adam's Family!

Invitations

The wedding invitations definitely have to inform people that they are in for a unique celebration. The invitations might include an icon of a tiny little spider dangling from a web-- right above the wedding date of October 31st.

wedding Cake And Favors

As unique as this wedding is, the Halloween wedding ideas that everyone will love and remember most will be the wedding cake and the wedding favors.

The wedding cake could be iced with dark fondant and covered in white icing spider webs, and when cut you discover dark red strawberry "blood" as filling. The cake topper might be a pair of miniature skeletons, one wearing a bowtie and one wearing a veil or two ghosts (one with the tie and the other holding a bouquet). The guests will be given a small "trick or treat" bag with the bride and groom's names and the date on it as a wedding favor, and as they leave, they stop by the "candy stand" and get to stuff their bag full of miniature M&M's, Hershey bars, and other treats.

All in all, this wedding will definitely be an event everyone will remember for a long time.
